Masahiko Kadonoki is the Senior Vice President of the Upstream Division. He is currently seconded to Sabine Energy Inc. (“Sabine”), where he serves as Senior Vice President, focusing on synergies, strategy, business development, greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction, governance, and safety across the organization. He led the reserves evaluation from Osaka Gas headquarters with Osaka Gas USA team during the acquisition of 35% of Sabine’s assets in Harrison and Panola Counties in 2018, followed by the full acquisition of Sabine in 2019.
He joined Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. in 2004, and began his career in domestic gas and power marketing for commercial and industrial customers. He later expanded his responsibilities globally to include business development and asset management in upstream projects across Norway, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the United States.
