Osaka Gas USA Corporation (“OGUSA”) is thrilled to announce that Osaka Gas Trading & Export LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OGUSA, has entered into an agreement for the procurement of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) produced in the US by Archaea Energy, a bp company. The purchased RNG will be liquefied at the Freeport LNG terminal and shipped to Japan. This trial of RNG purchase and shipment to Japan will be the first cornerstone to establish our supply chain of lower-carbon gas from the US to Japan.
