Future Energy Development
To reach our commitment to be completely carbon-neutral by 2050, Future Energy Development Taskforce was first formed in 2021 to explore carbon-neutral opportunities in North America. By January of 2023, the group has expanded more than double in size and had officially become one of the business units under Osaka Gas USA.
Future Energy Development hit its very first milestone when it made its first investment in Starfire Energy, which is a modular green ammonia technology developer. Ever since the first investment, the Future Energy Development team continues to make tremendous progress in our carbon-neutral business, especially in the development of e-methane projects.
In Future Energy Development, we will continue to search for additional investments and partners for collaborations in achieving our carbon-neutral target.
