Future Business Development
To reach our commitment to be completely carbon-neutral by 2050, Future Energy Development Taskforce was first formed in 2021 to explore carbon-neutral opportunities in North America. By January of 2023, the group has expanded more than double in size and had officially become one of the business units under Osaka Gas USA. Future Energy Development team continues to make significant progress in our carbon-neutral business, especially in the development of e-methane projects.
In 2026, the team was renamed “Future Business Development team” to further accelerate new business creation. In addition to its ongoing e-methane initiatives, the team’s mission includes identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, promoting decarbonization-related initiatives, and exploring participation in emerging sectors.
